Actors That Are Ashamed

Actors That Are Ashamed of Playing Cult Roles

Many actors are not very good at playing roles – they are not satisfied with the way they revealed the character’s behaviour or how the role began to look after the final cut. But the fact that among such dissatisfied there are performers of truly cult roles seems almost unbelievable.

Sean Connery – James Bond

Many fans of the franchise quite rightly think that no one has ever played the role of the successful agent 007 better than Sir Connery. The actor himself played Bond in seven films and looked unambiguously convincing everywhere – but the role managed to bore him to the point of insanity. In numerous interviews, he admitted that he could not stand the agent, his adventures and, in general, everything connected with him.

Robert Pattinson – Twilight

Robert Pattinson

Pattinson acted in films before Twilight, but it was the story of the vampire that made him a star of the first echelon. The actor would be happy, but he recalls the “post-twilight” glory days with a shudder and says that even at the time of reading the script, he hated his character.

Following the franchise of Twilight many casinos including 22Bet Online released slot machines based on the theme of vampires. It was really successful.

Harrison Ford – Star Wars

When Harrison Ford is asked about his favourite character he has ever played, he talks about Indiana Jones. The role of Han Solo from Star Wars, which made the actor popular, on the contrary, makes him blush with shame. Ford considers the character an impenetrable dumbass who only spoils everything and interferes with everyone.

Halle Berry – Catwoman

Spectators and critics expected a fantastic performance of the role of Catwoman in the film of the same name – it seemed that Berry was simply made for this image. After the release of the picture, everyone was just as unanimously disappointed, including the actress herself. She received the Golden Raspberry Award for this role and always turns off the TV if she accidentally sees film footage.

Sarah Jessica Parker – Sex and the City – 2

The full-length version of the popular series did not closely repeat its success, although such stars as Liza Minnelli, Heidi Klum, Miley Cyrus and Penelope Cruz starred in it. Fans of the series unanimously expressed their disappointment – and the actresses had no choice but to agree with them. The movie really turned out to be very unconvincing, but, in the words of Sarah Jessica Parker, it allowed her to “solve a number of financial problems.”

Ben Affleck – Daredevil

The actor is still very excited when answering questions about his role in this film. He believes that his acting was poor. However, on the set of Daredevil, Affleck met his wife, Jennifer Garner, so talking about a complete failure would not be very correct.

Matt Damon – The Bourne Ultimatum

Matt Damon

The Jason Bourne trilogy came out very strong, but Matt Damon considers The Bourne Ultimatum to be the weakest. Even while reading the script, he had a vague impression that the movie would be very average. He was wrong and the actor continues to believe that everything could have been filmed and played much better.

George Clooney – Batman and Robin

Some don’t even know that the brilliant George Clooney once put on a superhero mask – and the actor himself would prefer that the number of people who watched the picture never increase again. He thought he had destroyed the franchise and turned out to be the worst Batman in history – and then he always thought three times before agreeing to participate in the film.
